WWE NXT 2.0 Crowd Loudly Boos The Ending Of The Show, Escobar/D’Angelo

The rivalry between Santos Escobar and Tony D’Angelo escalated on this week’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0.

Several men in suits came out with a crowbar, which caused Escobar to lose his match against Carmelo Hayes.

Later in the show, D’Angelo said he was innocent and had nothing to do with it. This led to a backstage segment where Legado found his car with a boot on it.

Additionally, there was a dead fish on the hood of the car.

Joe Gacy vs. WWE NXT 2.0 World Champion Bron Breakker is now confirmed for the Spring Breakin’ event, which will take place in two weeks on the USA Network.

The end of this week’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0 came when Gacy pushed Breakker off a slightly raised platform.

Gacy appeared at ringside on the platform after the main event match and Breakker came out to confront him about Rick Steiner’s Hall of Fame ring. After a brief promo, Gacy pushed Breakker off the podium area as the crowd booed loudly.

While WWE tried to make it out to be a major spot, it was far from it. The platform appeared to be less than four feet high. WWE did a good job with the camera angles for television but the normally vocal live crowd in the Performance Center simply wasn’t buying it and it resulted in a brutal ending to the show.
