Karrion Kross vs. Drew McIntyre in a steel cage match was booked at this year’s WWE Crown Jewel event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match: 

Kross beat him down in the early going before Drew fired up. Drew with a spinebuster for 2. Kross put him in the rear-naked choke, but Drew got out and put him in a sleeper. Scarlett distracted Drew and Kross put him in a sleeper. They did a superplex off the cage. Drew was trying to escape and Kross had him in the ankle lock. Drew hit the claymore kick. Scarlett closed the door on Drew. Scarlett maced Drew at one point. Scarlett tried to pull Kross out of the door when Drew climbed out of the cage as Scarlett couldn’t find the key to the lock.
