Wrestling Legend Bobby Fulton Rushed To Hospital

Professional wrestling legend Bobby Fulton is being treated in hospital with a case of Pneumonia.

On Twitter, Dillon Hines, Fulton’s son, confirmed the news, and asked for the fans’ prayers as he battles sepsis and double pneumonia.

Beginning in wrestling in June 1977, Fulton is best known for his tag-team work with Tommy Rogers as The Fantastics, and the team became tag-team champions in Jim Crockett Promotions, the NWA, WCCW, and Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

His and Rogers’ feud with Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane also won the 1988 Feud of the Year award in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Fulton wrestled his final match, an eight-man tag at an Eaton tribute show in December 2019, and he announced his in-ring retirement in July 2020.

Fulton’s recent incident comes almost exactly one year after being hospitalized after spitting up blood.

We here at eWN wish Fulton and his family all the best at this time.
