William Regal Shares His Advice For Dealing With Twitter Trolls

AEW’s William Regal has shared how he deals with Twitter trolls during the latest episode of his podcast.

Regal joined AEW earlier this year after over 20 years with WWE, but has made it clear that he holds no ill-will to his former employer.

On his show ‘Gentleman Villain,’ Regal spoke about wrestlers ‘getting over’ and how negativity on Twitter should be ignored.

“I told somebody recently, I said, ‘You’re on AEW Dark a lot. Let me try and put this into perspective for you. It’s great that you’re on there because you’re getting reps. Any exposure is great. It’s an opportunity, but don’t buy into Twitter.

“Worry about the producers or the people that are paying you, or the older wrestlers, or your peers. Find out from them. Don’t worry about what people on Twitter are saying.”

Regal is a regular on AEW programming as part of the Blackpool Combat Club.
