This meant one of WWE’s most trusted backstage figures was suddenly running AAA’s biggest event of the week on his own.

This backstage change stands out as The Undertaker has grown heavily involved in AAA’s creative direction ever since WWE deepened its relationship with the company. He has been working closely with Borash as an executive producer who helps guide both television tapings and pay-per-view events.

Moreover, his work has already earned praise from talent inside AAA, since stars like Dominik Mysterio and Chad Gable have both spoken positively about how much The Undertaker has helped shape the creative process during this new WWE-backed era.

Even though The Undertaker missed this one event, it appears that WWE already has strong, experienced leadership ready to step in whenever he is unavailable.
