Who Will Win At AEW Redemption? Predictions? | Question Of The Day

AEW Redemption 2026 goes down tonight with a Buy-In pre-show at 6 p.m. ET and the main card starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Be sure to check back here at EWN for live coverage and our watch party of the pay-per-view, but beforehand, let’s toss out our predictions for what we think is going to happen.

My question for you today is “Who do you think will win the matches booked for AEW Redemption 2026?”

As far as my answer…

By and large, I feel like this event is just sort of a time-killer. It was meant to be where Kenny Omega won the title from MJF, and when that was moved off it, it became something to do before All In. As such, nearly everything feels inconsequential. The matches will be good for the most part, because AEW’s roster delivers, but it’s going to be a whole lot of just matches for the sake of matches and very little movement toward anything that matters.

The one exception to that, I feel, is that Willow Nightingale has a very good chance of beating Thekla and walking into Wembley as the AEW women’s world champion. The Triangle of Madness will go on to defend the Artist of STARDOM Championship instead, while Willow and Mercedes Mone will have the world title match.

There’s also a good chance that Andrade will beat Mark Davis, but I’m not calling that a guarantee, even if I’m at least 90% leaning in that direction. Andrade fights MJF (if he’s healed up) at All In either for the National Championship or the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

Painmaker Jericho beats Tommaso Ciampa, Bang Bang Gang win the double chain tag team match and get a shot at Cope and Cage over the next few weeks (after they beat Claudio Castagnoli and PAC here), Hikaru Shida retains the TBS title over Maya World, and Kyle Fletcher definitely retains the international title over Bandido in what will probably be the best match of the show.

Obviously, Kenny Omega isn’t losing the men’s world title to Kevin Knight. That’s beyond a 100% guarantee. They’ll put on a good performance, but Omega picks up the win with a One-Winged Angel.

The two matches I’m the most hung up on about not knowing a definitive winner for are the six-way ladder match and the Will Ospreay & Jon Moxley vs. Young Bucks match. Overall, I’m feeling more confident that Moxley loses for himself and Ospreay to continue to build a split between them, but I’m completely lost on the ladder match if I’m being honest. Kyle Fletcher is going to fight Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita at All In, so whoever gets the next title shot just gets fed to The Protostar. Is that a rematch with Komander just to run that back? Does Jack Perry get that spot? Speedball? At the very least, I highly highly highly doubt The Beast Mortos wins this.
