Who Should Win Tonight’s NXT #1 Contender Matches? | Question Of The Day

Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

Since the card for WWE Stand and Deliver 2025 isn’t fully set in stone, instead of asking who the biggest omission is, we still don’t know some of the TBD competitors. Thus, we have to change it up a little and think ahead.

My question for you today is “Who should win the final 2 spots in the Women’s North American Championship ladder match, the title shot against Ricky Saints, and the tag team title shot gauntlet tonight on NXT?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

It’s very strange the way that they decided to go about picking the six women for the ladder match. Two of them that I thought would have been shoo-ins—Lola Vice and Karmen Petrovic—haven’t even been involved. Having Jazmyn Nyx as the one in Fatal Influence to have an opportunity was odd, too, along with not announcing this setup for the last two spots initially.

The most interesting scenario for me would be if both Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne got into the match, so they would be forced to have to fight each other at some point, and we could see the breakdown of that faction happen now, as opposed to it continue to be teased. I’m disappointed Tatum Paxley, Cora Jade, and some others aren’t doing well enough to have gotten into this.

If WWE sticks to just one challenger for Ricky Saints, I think it needs to be Ethan Page. Frankly, I’d love to see all five of those guys in a Fatal 5-Way, but I don’t think that would be 100% necessary right now. I’m okay with smaller feuds with Saints against all of them, for the most part, one by one. For this weekend, though, the star power has to lend toward Page to get him on the card.

With Fraxiom’s challengers, I flat out don’t think there’s any match that will act as a draw in comparison. The ideal scenario would be that somehow, Matt and Jeff Hardy end up getting a title shot and they face Axiom and Nathan Frazer in a rematch. Nothing else would come remotely close to attracting viewers, and if it’s limited to just this crew, then I guess Hank Walker and Tank Ledger win it.
