Following the recent wave of WWE talent releases, new information has surfaced regarding the next steps for some of those affected.

Fightful Select is reporting that Dani Palmer is unlikely to pursue a future in professional wrestling.

Palmer, who entered WWE via the company’s athletic recruitment program, has reportedly indicated that her release may mark the conclusion of her athletic career.

Shotzi, on the other hand, was reportedly prepared for her departure. She had already filmed the emotional promo published on Thursday – one day before her release was officially announced. The video, in retrospect, clearly reflects an awareness of her impending exit from WWE.

Those close to Shotzi describe her as upbeat and forward-looking, with plans for her next chapter already taking shape.

Outside of WWE, there is growing interest in some of the recently released talent. Sources within MLW (Major League Wrestling) have expressed potential interest in several former WWE and NXT female wrestlers, though nothing has been finalized.

Regarding contractual obligations, WWE NXT talent are typically subject to a 30-day non-compete clause, whereas main roster stars face a 90-day restriction. Notably, Shotzi — having competed on the main roster — will see her non-compete clause expire sometime this spring or early summer, which appears to fall slightly short of the standard 90-day period.

As of now, WWE has officially released 17 Superstars, with one additional release still unconfirmed pending verification from a second source.
