Karrion Kross drew attention with remarks he made during the WrestleMania 41 post-show, and a new report sheds light on how WWE reacted.
Speaking in character on the “WrestleMania Recap” livestream with Sam Roberts and Megan Morant, Kross discussed his storyline with AJ Styles while also touching on his past release from WWE, his absence from the WrestleMania 41 card, and more.
According to a report from Fightful Select, the segment “turned heads” within WWE. It wasn’t scripted — none of the recap interviews were — and while it included some edgy language, the final cut required partial approval before airing. Despite this, Kross is not in any hot water over the promo.
Several WWE talents reportedly reached out to Kross afterward, both to check in on him and to thank him for delivering a promo that resonated both in character and in real-life context.
