Vince McMahon’s potential return to the WWE has been a talking point among fans in the last few days. Especially after the development of the Janel Grant lawsuit being moved into private arbitration, there has been buzz regarding McMahon’s return.

During a recent interview with Wrestling Epicenter, Vince Russo claimed that McMahon is clearing the deck to make a big comeback. The former WWE writer said,

“I never thought the day would come in a million years. I think the wrestling business is a lot worse without Vince McMahon. And I think currently Vince is clearing the deck to make a big comeback. Man, we just saw the shareholder lawsuit. We just saw that put to bed with a settlement. Now it looks like he’s going to settle with Janel Grant.”

“And once that happens, we know Vince’s relationship with Ari. There is nobody in the world that can tell me that the people running TKO are happy with the numbers. Uh I’m talking TV numbers, viewership numbers, not dollars and cents. They’ve cut some great deals. I’m talking about the product on television.”

“I could would not believe for a second that they’re happy with that. And I really believe that they’re clearing the field and Vince is gonna be back in the saddle again.”

Teddy Long Says McMahon Needs To Return To WWE

Appearing on TMZ’s “Inside The Ring” podcast, Teddy Long shared his thoughts on wanting to see Vince McMahon’s WWE return. The veteran said,

“So, you know, it’s changing a little bit now, but I think what we got to do, we got to get Vince back, you know, so we can do this thing right and get the fans back on board. I don’t think the chapter has ever closed with him.”

“I think Vince, you know, the way that I, like I said, I don’t know what happened or any of that stuff, but you know, to me, you know, and my knowing him, this was his life.”

“(And) I have that Legends deal, so if they call me, I have to go to work. But if I had to go back, I wish it would be under the whims of Vince McMahon.”
