Vince McMahon Issues Statement On Latest Sexual Assault Allegations

Earlier today, a representative from TKO Group Holdings issued a statement regarding the latest shocking sexual assault allegations that have been levied against former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

Vince McMahon has now commented on the matter, with his spokesperson issuing the following statement to Deadline:

“This lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and a vindictive distortion of the truth. He will vigorously defend himself.”

As you all know by now, a legal filing was announced on Thursday by former WWE employee Janel Grant against former WWE Chairman and current TKO Executive Chairman of the Board, Vince McMahon. The lawsuit was filed by Grant in the US District Court of Connecticut against McMahon and former EVP John Laurinaitis.

The official statement from TKO earlier today reads as follows,

“Mr. McMahon does not control TKO nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE. While this matter pre-dates our TKO executive team’s tenure at the company, we take Ms. Grant’s horrific allegations very seriously and are addressing this matter internally.”
