The documentary on Vince McMahon was going to air on Tuesday, October 18, on Vice TV, but due to stiff competition, including going up against the first head-to-head battle between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite for the first time in over a year, the project didn’t air.
“Nine Lives,” a two-hour documentary on McMahon, isn’t listed on VICE TV’s schedule for the next several weeks, according to PWinsider.com. Instead, more episodes of Tales from the Territories are listed to air. The next three episodes of Tales from the Territories include:
- October 25: Championship Wrestling from Florida.
- November 1: Stampede Wrestling
- November 8: Polynesian Pro Wrestling
McMahon was forced to retire from his position as CEO of WWE following an investigation of alleged sexual misconduct. There’s no word on when it will finally debut.
