Various WWE Clash At The Castle Notes: Rollins, STARDOM, Adrian Street

Seth Rollins came out to his match at Clash at the Castle in gear inspired by Elton John, and the biopic film based on his life Rocketman. The Visionary was sporting some truly inspired threads for his bout against Matt Riddle, and social media was quick to point out the similarities between Rollins’ outfit and those worn by Taron Egerton, the actor who portrayed Elton John.

It is worth noting that John himself never wore the outfit, which was designed by Rocketman costume designer Julian Day, as was reported in The Guardian back in 2019.

UK wrestling legends and Welsh natives Adrian Street and Miss Linda were in attendance for Saturday’s Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff, as evidenced by a tweet from Triple H (which you can see below). The two were also shown onscreen during the broadcast:

The Triple Tails faction, which consisted of Iyo Sky, Asuka, and Iyo’s sister Mio from the STARDOM promotion, received a shout-out on commentary during the Saturday show, as well. Michael Cole referenced the group during the opening bout of the night, which saw Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair teaming with Alexa Bliss and Asuka in a losing effort to Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky.
