Fightful Select has provided some backstage news and notes from Saturday’s WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland pay-per-view event.

Damian Priest defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the show. During the match, Priest experienced a frightening moment when he fell over the ropes, causing his ankle to become caught between them, leaving him suspended for a period of time.

According to multiple sources, Priest received tremendous praise for his performance.

Additionally, it is said that the initial word was that Damian Priest was “fine” after the match.

Cody Rhodes was involved in a private signing event during Clash at the Castle week, where 500 replica belts were quickly sold.

Rhodes was cited as the top merchandise seller at the weekend’s events in Scotland, alongside other top sellers such as CM Punk and a “Scotland 3:16” t-shirt.

And finally, several wrestlers’ luggage was delayed or lost during the trip and were still awaiting delivery on Friday.
