Naomi’s WWE contract is set to expire soon according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

During this week’s Raw, Naomi walked out of the show with her tag team partner Sasha Banks and the pair left their titles with John Laurinaitis.

In a statement, WWE said it was regrettable that the Champions didn’t compete in the main event as advertised.

It’s reported that she has been negotiating a new deal with WWE in recent weeks and Meltzer suggested that the decision to walk out this week may have been influenced by her current contract situation.

Naomi’s former tag team partner Cameron has claimed that Naomi was “manipulated” into walking out by Sasha Banks.

Neither Banks nor Naomi have commented publicly on the incident from this week’s Raw.
