WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is completely against the idea of the promotion bringing back the Divas Championship as Maria Kanellis has suggested.
The Divas Championship was introduced in 2008 as SmackDown’s equivalent to RAW’s Women’s Championship, with the titles being unified in 2010.
Speaking to Grapsody, Kanellis said that WWE should bring back the “butterfly belt” referring to the title’s center plate design.
Responding to the idea, Stratus made it clear she didn’t want to see the title return.

The Divas Championship was retired at WrestleMania 32 and replaced with the new Women’s Champion (later rechristened the RAW Women’s Championship.)
