WWE COO Triple H has said it is unlikely that The Rock will compete at this year’s WrestleMania as countless fans had been hoping for.

For months, fans have speculated on The Rock facing Roman Reigns at this coming April’s event in Los Angeles, CA, with both men having teased the match.

It was reported recently that The Rock does not believe he will be able to get in ring-shape in time for WrestleMania 39.

Speaking about the Great One at the post-Royal Rumble press conference, Triple H discussed The Rock’s relationship with WWE. He said,

“He’s incredibly busy. I know for him, I know his family, and his background, and there’s a part of him that if he could be here for this, if he could be here for this WrestleMania in Hollywood, he would turn over every stone and walk through fire to do it if he could.

“I just don’t think it’s in the cards, but then again, I don’t know. We always have conversations with him because he loves it so much, and we love for him to be a part of it.”

While some fans had hoped that The Rock would appear at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, WWE’s annual January event came and went without a sighting from the Great One.
