Will Ospreay has never been afraid to share his thoughts on WWE. The current AEW World has frequently discussed the rival promotion. His comments have often sparked debate among wrestling fans. However, Ospreay now insists that his attention remains elsewhere.
During a recent interview with Brandon Kravitz, Ospreay addressed the constant questions about WWE. The discussion took place ahead of AEW WrestleDream. Ospreay was asked whether he gets tired of people bringing up WWE and wondering if he will eventually join the company. He acknowledged that such questions come with being a professional wrestler.
Still, The Aerial Assassin made it clear that he would rather focus on AEW. Ospreay also praised the promotion’s product and explained why he believes it is changing professional wrestling. The champion said,
“I know it’s a part of the gig. People always ask, and I can only give my opinion. I don’t really care about it. I’d rather focus on AEW, and I’d rather focus on what we’re able to do here and what I believe AEW is doing, which is changing the face of professional wrestling.”
“I love what we present. I love what we do, I love our wrestling. And I love everything that we’re all about. So I couldn’t really care less about any other promotion. It’s just part of the game, boss. You just got to learn to take it.”
Ospreay Calls AEW The Best Wrestling Promotion In The World
At the AEW All Out 2026, Will Ospreay retained his world title against Jon Moxley. During the post-show media scrum, he spoke highly of All Elite Wrestling. The Aerial Assassin said,
“Tonight was super special to me because it was the first time I was on a pay-per-view main event defending the championship, and the entire building was sold out on three matches. It sold out on myself and Jon, Brawling Birds and Divine Dominion, and the ladder match.”
“I cannot tell you the pride that I feel because people did have a choice. Everyone who came to this show tonight chose the right company. We deliver the best pay-per-views, the best pro wrestling.”
“Any time anyone wants to come and step up to us, here is the reality for you, we’re going to knock you down two f**king levels. We are the best pro wrestling in the entire f**king world, do not f**king step to us ever again.”
