Tony Khan Calls PAC Tribute Show AEW’s ‘Greatest And Most Important Show’

The September 30 edition of AEW Dynamite came off the heels of a massive All Out 2026, but did little to address the pay-per-view fallout.

Instead of dealing with All Out or building to the next show, the event was a tribute to Ben ‘PAC’ Satterley, who had died days earlier.

In a video shared on Twitter after this week’s Dynamite, Tony Khan reflected on what has been a difficult period for the promotion.

Touching on the September 30 Dynamite, Khan believed that focusing on Satterley, not building to their next money-making event, was the right call.

“I felt the right choice for the PAC tribute show was not to promote the pay-per-view heavily. Not to run a lot of stories. I think, just to focus on PAC and focus on who Ben was and why he was so important. I think it’s the greatest and most important show we’ve done. It’s been a very challenging time.”

PAC was the first AEW All-Atlantic Champion, with his first title defense of the championship happening at a Rev Pro event in his native England.

He was also a two-time AEW Trios Champion. Before AEW, he wrestled in WWE as Adrian Neville/Neville, where he held gold in NXT and on the main roster.
