It’s been a while since there was any crossover between the WWE and TNA Wrestling rosters, but the partnership appears to still be going on based on a quick appearance from one of Total Nonstop Action’s top stars.
On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, during a match between Kelani Jordan and Cora Jade, TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich was shown to be ringside checking out the action.
With all the possibility of something, anything happening with her ringside, WWE opted to do nothing more than that. Vic Joseph plugged Slamovich’s upcoming title defense for TNA Genesis happening this weekend, the match went along, Cora Jade raked Kelani Jordan’s eyes and managed to get the win, and that was that.
Considering the match between Jordan and Jade happened in part because of a backstage segment earlier in the night where Jade said that she would win another title before Jordan, there’s always a chance WWE runs with something in the future where Jade’s victory leads to her getting a shot at Slamovich, but they certainly didn’t do anything to particularly hint at that here.
