Tiffany Stratton’s workout with Kick streamer N3on took an unexpected turn Saturday when police arrived at the Los Angeles gym following what N3on described as another fake emergency call targeting his livestream.
Stratton and N3on were training at Arsenal Boxing when multiple police vehicles arrived outside the facility. Officers soon approached the gym’s glass entrance, prompting N3on to explain to Stratton that the situation appeared to be another swatting attempt. He said,
“It’s just a prank SWAT call.”
Stratton appeared confused by the sudden police presence and wondered why someone would have called law enforcement on her. N3on clarified that she was not the intended target, explaining that the caller was allegedly using information from his livestream to direct police to their location. He said,
“Nah, this has happened to me in this city probably like 50 times.”
N3on went on to explain that the people making the calls can disguise their voices and report fabricated emergencies at whatever location he happens to be broadcasting from, prompting a police response.
As officers dealt with the situation, they instructed N3on and those with him to stop recording. One officer said,
“Turn off your cameras.”
The footage circulating online did not show any arrests stemming from the incident, and the livestream eventually resumed after the police presence subsided.
