Thunder Rosa Recording Her First Single Amid Ongoing Injury

AEW’s Thunder Rosa is spending her hiatus from the ring recording her own music, the former Women’s World Champion has confirmed.

In August, Rosa announced an injury that has kept her from the ring and would lead to the crowning of an Interim AEW Women’s World Champion.

Taking to Instagram this week, Rosa appeared in a recording booth and said she is recording her first single, which will be out sometime in early 2023.

Rosa added that she has been working with a singing coach and a songwriter for the project.

After Jamie Hayter captured the Interim AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear, Rosa relinquished her title, making the British wrestler the Undisputed Women’s World Champion.

Toni Storm’s Interim Women’s World Title run has been retroactively edited to be classed as a fully-fledged Championship reign.

Rosa gave an update on her health to her fans this week, saying that her recovery is going “really well.”
