The Young Bucks Could Lose Their EVP Status At AEW All In: Texas

The opening match of AEW Dynamite on June 25, 2025 featured The Young Bucks using their stroke as Executive Vice Presidents of All Elite Wrestling to move some matches on the card, forcing Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay to kick off the show, rather than wrestle Blake Christian and Lee Johnson in the second hour.

Ospreay and Strickland were successful regardless of the obstacle, and put out a challenge after the match about how they’re sick of Matthew and Nicholas Jackson abusing their power. If they beat them at All In in a tag team match, The Young Bucks will relinquish their EVP status to Ospreay and Strickland.

The Founding Fathers of AEW followed the segment by saying since Strickland put his hands on an official when he dove into a pile of security guards, that he’s been suspended for a week without pay.

Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, Rocky Romero, and Trent Beretta approached them. Everyone agreed that despite their differences, they’re on the same side, mostly because they want to make sure Okada beats Kenny Omega at All In. They also plan to hurt Omega by hurting Kota Ibushi.

Takeshita then told Okada “Remember, this is temporary.” referring to Okada’s alliance with The Don Callis Family.
