The Undertaker Hypes WWE LFG, Nia Jax On Facing Lyra Valkyria

During a recent edition of his “Six Feet Under” podcast, The Undertaker discussed being part of WWE LFG on A&E.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On WWE LFG: “LFG man, it’s going to be a really cool — I can’t get too much into the details, but it’s going to give you a look into the process, a little bit, of creating a WWE superstar sort of from the ground up. Probably from ground zero on up to making it to, say, NXT. It’s been a lot of fun, but it has been a workload that I’m not used to. Yeah, a little bit of a grind. I thought my grinding days were beyond. But yeah, making that trip every week to Orlando has been [hard].”

On whether being part of the show has helped him scratch the itch of missing wrestling: “Yeah, a little. It’s just a different process. And it keeps me involved in the product in a creative way. So again, all those aspects of it have been really enjoyable. It’s just the travel that’s really sucked.”

During a recent appearance on the “Stay Busy” podcast, Nia Jax recalled her match with Lyra Valkyria in the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On hitting the Annihilator: “It was something that was suggested that we do, just something different, for the Annihilator. Lyra Valkyria is a new talent that has the most potential. I love her. I love working with her. I wanted something different for her, and we kind of rehearsed it, but obviously, you can’t really go full speed with that in rehearsal; you just have to go with it.”

On how the finish came together: “It was so crazy. When I watched it back, I gasped myself. In the moment, when you do it, it was so fast. We got backstage, and that young girl, so sweet, she kept thanking me for everything. She said, ‘It was great. It was easy.’ I know deep down she’s probably hurting and can’t breathe. It made it easy for me to enjoy that moment because she came back and told me it was incredible, and it didn’t bother her whatsoever. It was great that I was able to share that moment with her. Watching it back, I don’t know if I would want to be on the other side of it.”
