The Rock has faced accusations of sharing false box office numbers about his latest blockbuster hit ‘Black Adam.’
The film, based on the titular DC Comics character, sees Rock in the role of Black Adam, the magical antihero protector of the city of Khandaq.
Last week, the Brahma Bull shared impressive numbers for the film, which he claimed made between $52m and $72m in profit.

According to Matt Belloni in a Puck Newsletter, “several Warner executives” believe that The Rock leaked a story to Deadline regarding the film’s profits margins.
These same executives also believe that the numbers Johnson shared in his tweet are based on false assumptions.
The Rock has not responded to claims of sharing false numbers.
