Ilja Dragunov was one of the notable names missing from AEW All Out 2026, despite growing speculation that the former WWE Superstar could make his long-awaited debut for Tony Khan’s promotion at the Chicago event.
Fans have been waiting to see Dragunov enter the AEW fold ever since reports surfaced that he had signed with the company. With All Out 2026 taking place in Chicago, many expected The Mad Dragon to finally make his first appearance. However, that did not happen, leaving some fans disappointed.
According to a report from Fightful Select, AEW already has the necessary material in place to begin Dragunov’s run with the company. However, there is no word on when those plans would be put into motion.
The report also revealed an important reason for Dragunov’s absence from All Out 2026 – he is currently dealing with visa issues.
As a result, Dragunov was not available to appear at the pay-per-view event in Chicago, IL.
