The Latest On The AEW Exits Of Malakai Black, Miro, & Ricky Starks

Malakai Black, Miro, and Ricky Starks have officially parted ways with All Elite Wrestling, as confirmed by their removal from the AEW roster page.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared more details about their AEW departures.

According to Meltzer, Black’s contract with AEW has expired, while Miro and Ricky Starks were released.

Moreover, Rey Fenix has not been released yet, and the reasons for AEW granting Starks and Miro their releases remain unclear, raising questions about why Fenix’s situation is different.

As we previously reported here on eWn, all three wrestlers (Black, Starks, and Miro) are currently free agents and not subject to any non-compete clauses.

Meltzer further added that Black, Starks, and Miro can appear on WWE television as soon as they are signed.

Furthermore, Miro and AEW had “creative differences,” and Miro did not want to lose, which resulted in his limited TV time.

And finally, Meltzer said he is “certain” that Starks and Black are headed to WWE and expects Miro to return to WWE in the future.
