It was recently reported that former WWE Superstars and Tag Team Champions, Demolition (Bill Eadie/Ax and Barry Darsow/Smash), have signed new WWE Legends deals. This could signal a potential Hall of Fame induction in their near future.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the three-time WWF Tag Team Champions have been discussed as potential inductees. Their new Legends contract not only allows them to have officially-licensed WWE merchandise and make appearances in WWE video games but also provides a path for them to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The current WWE regime has reportedly considered Demolition for an induction, although it’s still unclear whether they’ll be part of the Class of 2025. So far, Triple H and Michelle McCool are the only announced inductees for this year’s Hall of Fame class.

With this new Legends deal, WWE can now produce and license merchandise for Ax, Smash, and Demolition. While Demolition had previously been represented through WWE-licensed action figures and even appeared in the WWE ’12 video game, this deal marks the end of several years of tension between the team and WWE. Those issues stemmed from their exit from the company, legal disputes over the Demolition name and copyright, as well as concerns over concussions.

There’s no word yet on whether Crush (the late Brian Adams), who joined Demolition for a brief period, will be considered for a Hall of Fame induction alongside them. Crush had a notable WWE career as a singles star, a member of the Nation of Domination, and also had a significant run in WCW as part of the nWo and later as half of the Kronik tag team with Bryan Clark, winning the WCW Tag Team Titles.

WWE has yet to confirm Demolition’s place in the Class of 2025 Hall of Fame.
