On Sunday night at the NWA Crockett Cup, we saw The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) win the 2022 Crockett Cup Tournament by defeating The NOW in the first round, then Dirty Dango and JTG in the second round on Saturday night. On Sunday night, they defeated Matt Cardona and VSK in the semifinals, then defeated Harry Smith and Doug Williams in the finals.
The last NWA Crockett Cup held was back in 2019 and was won by Villain Enterprises, which was the team of Impact Wrestling star PCO and AEW’s Brody King. NWA had planned for a Crockett Cup tournament in 2020 and 2021, but both of those were canceled due to the pandemic.
