Summer Of Punk Era Begins In WWE

CM Punk is not taking it slow after his big return.

Punk defeated Sami Zayn on RAW and became the new Undisputed WWE Champion, and now the company is putting him straight to work.

Punk shared on his Instagram Stories that he will work all 13 house shows scheduled between now and the end of August, and he is also set to appear on every SmackDown going forward.

That is a heavy schedule, especially since Punk had been away since the RAW right after WrestleMania 42, where he lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns.

Punk’s next big challenge could come at SummerSlam in Minneapolis, where he could reportedly defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes.
