Impact Wrestling held its May Day tapings on Sunday and coming out of the tapings, two matches were put in place for Slammiversary on June 19 in Nashville, TN.
Gail Kim announced that the first-ever Knockouts Queen of the Mountain match will take place with Tasha Steelz, Chelsea Green, Deonna Purrazzo, Jordynne Grace and Mia Yim competing in the match.
World Champion Josh Alexander and a staredown with Eric Young, setting up a bout at Slammiversary between the two as Young previously won the Gauntlet For Gold to earn a title shot.
An Ultimate X match was announced for Slammiversary with “Speedball” Mike Bailey qualifying for it.
