Shawn Spears Calls Interim Titles Bullsh*t! – “You’re Either Champion Or You’re Not”

AEW’s Shawn Spears has spoken up against the company’s use of Interim championships that have been featured this year.

After CM Punk suffered an injury in June, Jon Moxley became the Interim AEW World Champion, a title which was later unified with the Lineal AEW World Title.

More recently, Toni Storm became Interim AEW Women’s World Champion after Lineal Champion Thunder Rosa suffered an injury.

On social media, Spears spoke about the use of Interim titles.

At AEW Full Gear, Jamie Hayter became the second Interim AEW Women’s World Champion, dethroning Storm.
