It was announced earlier today that the scheduled match between Riddle and Seth Rollins at SummerSlam has been removed from the card.

While WWE claims the match was pulled due to Riddle suffering a “stinger” on RAW, that is not the case and he’s not injured. The change is simply the result of “creative adjustments.” The match is now expected to take place at the Clash at the Castle pay-per-view event.

Seth Rollins took to his Twitter account earlier today to react to the news, writing:

“For anyone who purchased a ticket to #SummerSlam hoping to see me in action, I apologize. I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control. Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday.”
