Scrapped Match From Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Revealed

There were plans for a match that was canceled from Wednesday’s (November 9) episode of AEW Dynamite.

The episode included six matches, with the main event including Bryan Danielson’s two-out-of-three falls victory against Sammy Guevara.

Per Fightful Select, there was originally one more match planned for the show, featuring Darby Allin as the report noted that it’s believed that Cole Karter was going to be Allin’s opponent. It is unclear why this bout was nixed.

During Jay Lethal’s recent match against Karter, Allin was noticeably attacked, which gave Lethal the advantage and the win.

After the match, Jeff Jarrett stunned fans by making his AEW debut by knocking Allin out with a guitar shot. Later, Tony Khan announced Jarrett as the new Director of Business Development, so verifying that he was All Elite.
