Saudi Arabia Tournament Postponed Ahead Of WWE Crown Jewel 2026

Saudi official Turki Alalshikh released a statement today regarding the Six Kings Slam 2026 tennis tournament. This was originally slated to run from October 21 to October 24. However, it has now been pushed back to December 27-30. The statement pointed to “organizational and logistical challenges” as the cause.

The tournament was set to feature some of tennis’ biggest stars (including legend Novak Djokovic) and formed part of the yearly Riyadh Season celebrations, which also encompass WWE Crown Jewel. Mounting violence in the Middle East, with Iran-backed Houthi rebels hitting Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh airport in deadly strikes, has raised questions about how much of the festival can actually go ahead.
