The main event of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Samoa Joe successfully capture the Ring of Honor Television Championship. In a match that went a little over ten minutes, Joe would defeat then-champion Minoru Suzuki to secure the belt.

A member of the Ring of Honor Hall of Fame, this marks the beginning of Samoa Joe’s first run as ROH Television Champion. Previously Joe had held both the ROH World Championship and the ROH Pure Championship.
