Samoa Joe has branded the tribalism between AEW and WWE fans as “ridiculous” and says that fans should simply enjoy pro wrestling.

Joe signed with WWE in 2015 and was released twice by the promotion before joining AEW earlier this year.

During a recent episode of the AEW Unrestricted podcast, the Ring of Honor World Television Champion lashed out at fans who bash other companies to support their favorite:

“I think the arguing between the AEW and the WWE fans is ridiculous. Watch pro wrestling, you don’t need to dunk on this, it’s you taking your ego and something you have nothing involved with and trying to start a conflict with something else. I mean, watch what you watch and enjoy what you want to enjoy.”

Joe added that rather than being seen as opponents, AEW and WWE are working to achieve the same goal – great pro wrestling entertainment.
