For those wondering why Sami Zayn hasn’t been competing in the ring lately, the reason was revealed during a segment with CM Punk on last week’s show.
Zayn mentioned that he suffered a broken hand, and it turns out that the injury is legitimate. Pwinsider is reporting that this is not part of a storyline or an angle.
As a result, Zayn has been kept out of in-ring competition while he recovers from the injury.
