Samantha Irvin left WWE to focus on projects and her music career outside of wrestling, and she didn’t leave to go to AEW.
Irvin’s abrupt departure from WWE just before this week’s Monday Night RAW caught the pro wrestling world off guard, as it was unexpected.
With her WWE exit confirmed, there’s also clarification about her ability to keep her name.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE holds the rights to the name Samantha Irvin.
As a result, she cannot continue using that name and will have to go by her real name, Samantha Johnson.
