The ‘Pro Wrestling News’ Twitter account recently posted a scoop regarding WWE’s rumored plans to introduce United States and Intercontinental Titles for the women’s division. The report notes that one would be exclusive to RAW while the other would be featured on the SmackDown brand. Of course, this is similar to the men’s Intercontinental Championship being on RAW, and the US Title being on SmackDown.
According to a report from Fightful Select, none of the talent have heard anything about new titles being introduced. With that being said, they are hopeful that new titles will be added sooner rather than later.
Just last month, WWE introduced a new NXT Women’s North American Championship. Kelani Jordan won a Ladder Match at WWE NXT: Battleground to become the inaugural champion.
