Rumor Killer On Karrion Kross Refusing To Take Bumps

Karrion Kross is set for a major matchup this weekend at the Night of Champions pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia, where he will face Sami Zayn. This marks Kross’ first match at a WWE pay-per-view event since WrestleMania 40 last year.

Recently, Wade Keller mentioned a rumor that Kross’ limited push on the main roster is due to his reluctance to take “flat back bumps.” It was noted that some wrestlers don’t want to work with Kross because of this, which could be holding back his main roster career.

However, Fightful Select spoke to multiple WWE producers who have worked with Kross, and they denied the rumor, stating that they have never encountered any issues with him refusing to take flat back bumps.

The one-on-one match between Karrion Kross and Sami Zayn will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Night of Champions, held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event will air live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
