Details are still yet to be announced for next year’s Royal Rumble event, but that hasn’t stopped fans from snatching up tickets in record numbers.

The 2023 Royal Rumble will be the 36th annual Rumble event, and the sixth to feature both a men’s and women’s rumble match.

Fightful Select reports that the show has sold more tickets than any other Royal Rumble event in an opening sale weekend.

“WWE sources confirmed that over 25,000 tickets have been sold, a new record for the event as far as paid tickets and gross revenue for a first on-sale weekend for the show.”

No matches, other than the two Royal Rumble matches, have been confirmed for the show at this time.

WWE Royal Rumble 2023 will take place at San Antonio’s Alamodome on January 28, 2023.
