Ring of Honor could be up for sale very soon ahead of their return from hiatus next month.

In December 2021, ROH went on a break to “work internally to reimagine” the company and will return with the Supercard of Honor event on April 1.

Fightful Select reports that there have been talks within ROH of a possible sale of the company, or a possible partnership between ROH and another promotion.

Rumors of an ROH sale have been more frequent over the past two years, as several offers have reportedly been made since 2020.

One higher-up source in ROH has claimed that in early 2020, a $40 million offer was made by another company to purchase the promotion.

More recently, an independently wealthy fan reportedly offered $30 million for 50% ownership of ROH.

It’s believed that many of the ROH talents will be working on a freelance basis when the company returns, with many having to get approval from other promotions first.

Ring of Honor will return on April 1 with Supercard of Honor which will be followed with a TV taping in Philadelphia on April 10.
