Ric Flair is apparently learning about his own love life from social media.
The 77-year-old WWE Hall of Famer recently came across a post claiming that he was preparing to get married for a sixth time and start another family. Rather than let the rumor slide, Flair shared the post on Twitter on Tuesday and had some fun with the story.
The post claimed, “Ric Flair says he wants to marry for the sixth time and start a new family.”
Flair’s response made it clear that he had no idea where the claim came from—or who this supposed future wife might be. He wrote,
“Good To Know I’m Still The Breaking News Headline At 77 Years Old! Can Someone Please Introduce Me To The Next Mrs. Flair Because, To My Knowledge, We Haven’t Met Yet! Obviously, I’m Not Starting A New Family. To Be Such A Legend…WTF!”
Flair recently celebrated Wendy Barlow being back in his life, prompting some speculation that the two had rekindled their romantic relationship. Flair later clarified that they are instead rebuilding their friendship, explaining that they live separately and are simply renewing the close bond they have shared for years.
Flair has been married multiple times throughout his life, including Leslie Goodman, whom he married in 1971, and Elizabeth “Beth” Harrell, whom he married in 1983.
