Rhea Ripley & Buddy Matthews Strike Again – Quack, Quack!

You can always count on Buddy Matthews and Rhea Ripley to bring plenty of unfiltered chaos to social media.

The married wrestling couple, who tied the knot in 2024, frequently give fans a glimpse into their relationship with hilarious and wholesome posts. Buddy’s latest upload certainly falls into the hilarious category.

The AEW star shared a photo of himself sporting some questionable plush headgear while Rhea Ripley posed beside him wearing a duck mask. The bizarre combination was enough to leave fans doing a double take.

Buddy took things a step further with a funny caption. He wrote,

“If it looks like a Duck, Quacks like a Duck…. It’s a Duck 🦆 standing next to a D**k Head!”

Matthews has been working his way back to the ring after being sidelined since suffering a serious injury at AEW Grand Slam in February 2025. His recovery has been anything but straightforward, with multiple setbacks and complications slowing down his return.

However, there is finally some positive news. Matthews recently confirmed that he has been medically cleared and has resumed in-ring training as he prepares for his AEW comeback.

With AEW All In approaching and a Men’s Casino Gauntlet match set to take place, the timing could be ideal for Matthews to make his long-awaited return.

Meanwhile, Ripley is also on the road to recovery. The WWE star recently underwent surgery for a torn meniscus in her right knee, forcing her to step away from competition.
