WWE may have hosted its first King of the Ring pay-per-view event in over two decades in 2024, but don’t expect a repeat event in 2025.
According to a report from WrestleVotes, WWE does not plan on hosting a King & Queen of the Ring tournaments this year.
Last year’s tournaments saw GUNTHER and Nia Jax winning the crowns, earning title matches at the SummerSlam 2024 pay-per-view event.
Both would win at the event with GUNTHER capturing the World Heavyweight Championship while Nia Jax claimed the WWE Women’s title.
