WWE’s biggest international event of the fall is still expected to go ahead in Saudi Arabia, even though questions about safety have grown in recent days.
Pwinsider is reporting that WWE has not discussed moving Crown Jewel 2026 away from Riyadh and continues to plan for the show on November 7.
The concerns follow a missile strike at King Khalid International Airport on October 10. Saudi officials said that the attack caused at least 12 deaths and 309 injuries, while airport operations were temporarily stopped. With less than a month left before Crown Jewel, the situation naturally created uncertainty around WWE’s travel and event plans.
The new report states that WWE is working with the Saudi government and a private security company that has experts familiar with the region. WWE is reportedly not expected to make a final decision without approval from that security firm, which suggests safety checks remain an important part of the process.
The report also pushed back against rumors that Crown Jewel could be moved to a European city. It comes after F4WOnline reported that Riyadh remained the plan, although a backup city in the United States was reportedly being considered.
It is to be noted that WWE has not announced any change to the event. Triple H also unveiled a new Crown Jewel poster on social media, confirming that the pay-per-view event is scheduled to take place live from Riyadh on November 7.
