Report – WWE Planning To Upstage AEW Yet Again

It seems WWE is once again stepping into the spotlight ahead of AEW.

Recently, All Elite Wrestling announced a multi-week residency at Philadelphia’s legendary 2300 Arena. The run will feature multiple episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision, culminating in the annual ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event.

However, before AEW takes over the historic venue, WWE will make its presence known.

Just one week prior to the start of AEW’s residency, WWE will host an episode of WWE NXT at the 2300 Arena. WrestleVotes is reporting that the show, scheduled to air on The CW Network, is set for Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

The following week, the AEW and ROH seven-day stretch begins at the same 2300 Arena, with the following shows on the following dates:

* Wednesday, August 27 – AEW Dynamite
* Saturday, August 30 – AEW Collision
* Wednesday, September 3 – AEW Dynamite
* Friday, September 5 – ROH Death Before Dishonor
* Saturday, September 6 – AEW Collision
* Wednesday, September 10 – AEW Dynamite
* Thursday, September 11 – Special Taping of AEW Collision
