Report – Triple H’s ‘Number Two’ Lieutenant Was Forced Out Of WWE

A major WWE executive and close ally of Triple H is no longer with the company.

WWE has been undergoing significant budget cuts over the past several months, resulting in the departures of several notable names. Now, another prominent backstage figure has been let go, with Patrick Dooley, WWE’s Senior Vice President of Global Strategy and Corporate Development, exiting the promotion.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dooley is no longer part of WWE. The report stated that the decision came from the highest levels of TKO, described as the “Emanuel/Shapiro level.” The move reportedly caught many people backstage off guard, with several within WWE surprised by his departure.

Dooley had been considered a close ally of Triple H behind the scenes. He joined WWE in 2018 and became heavily involved in the company’s business operations and international expansion.

Notably, Dooley played a key role in WWE’s acquisition of AAA and also helped secure a FOX Latin America deal for the promotion. His contributions extended well beyond the creative side of WWE, making his departure particularly noteworthy.
