New Japan Pro Wrestling star Tetsuya Naito will be undergoing eye surgery in the near future.

Tokyo Sports is reporting that Naito will be undergoing surgery on his right eye in order to fix oblique muscle paralysis. This is something that has caused him to have double vision in recent months.

Naito underwent surgery in 2019 for the same issue and said the following,

“Now I’m in a worse condition than when I had surgery in 2019.”

Naito believes now is the right time to have the surgery with the upcoming Best of the Super Juniors tournament taking place, which gives him a break in his schedule.

Kazuchika Okada defeated Naito at Sunday’s NJPW Wrestling Dontaku event.
